Costume made orthotic insoles

If you decide to order a pair of orthotic insoles, we discuss with you the painful areas and then determine the width and length of the orthotics and the material they are to be made of.

The question “Can I put them in another pair of shoes?” arises immediately. At this point it is best to decide which shoes you wear most often. We advise people who enquire by phone to bring the pair of shoes they wear most often with them. If you have similar pairs of the same type and shape, the orthotics can be used in any of them.

Unfortunately, we cannot make individual orthotics for people suffering from diabetes. A complication called diabetic neuropathy can arise with diabetes, which damages the blood vessels causing numbness. There is a risk that a patient with diabetes can develop calluses on the soles of their feet, which they only notice later when they turn into sore spots and in the worst case foot ulcers.

For them we recommend standard diabetic insoles, which are available in sizes 37 to 45.

We only recommend wearing orthotic insoles from school age.

In our view starting to wear orthotics at an early age makes small feet lazy. In children of this age foot ligaments and muscles which support the arches are growing stronger. At this age we recommend wearing special shoes with slanting heels (which we also distribute) as well as foot exercises.

Naturally we are happy to examine everyone’s feet.

It is worthwhile having an annual check-up to follow changes in your feet by comparing the new scan with the previous one.

Polyethylene foam insoles

Resists for excess sweating and thicker than the following ones. Ideal for work related purposes, safety shoes, handling heavy weight. It can be placed either on polifoam (thicker) or leather (thinner) base.

Noene insoles

Noene is a special shock absorbent base. It can be covered either with polifoam or microfiber. It is recommended for heavier people or when chock absorption does matter.

The base of the orthotic insoles is noene and the covering can be either foam or leather but foam is the material normally used. NOENE is a vibration absorbent, flexible material made of crystalline microcells. It effectively absorbs shocks, almost entirely eliminating the harmful energy reflected back into the body when the feet in shoes make contact with the ground. It is an innovative material which belongs to the rubber family, but exhibits several special characteristics of its own. NOENE orthotics ensure that walking and running is comfortable and enjoyable, making the negative force of striking the ground almost unnoticeable. They are 2 mm thick and recommended for sportsmen and women.

As producing both eco-leather and noene is very expensive, with these two types there is no possibility of adjusting the orthotics.

Naturally, the 6-month guarantee applies to cases involving the quality of the material.
